A visit to Valdeorras
|
Our member Cayetana Pardo, a certified sommelier, is working on an exciting project to promote Spanish wines in Türkiye. She recently visited Galician wineries in search of 100% Godello, the flagship grape of DO Valdeorras, known for its full-bodied profile, balanced acidity, and intense fruity and floral aromas. Her goal is to add a winery producing this highly prized variety to her portfolio. In 2022, a Godello from this region scored 100 Parker points, marking a major milestone for the variety.
